The services, the room, resort's own environment

location is a bit too far from the town, and the main tourist attraction of Taroko National Park.

Everything is perfect. Like it very much, really enjoyed. Breakfast, room, staff, all super nice.

Lovely staff and well kept facilities. Beautiful views and comfortable rooms. Food options were great. Pet friendly.

Big resort, great options for food. Really helpful staff. Manager also a nice guy as they did not see a lot of western tourist there. Bit off season so many of the pools but the main one was closed (also hot springs at that pool). Short ride to taroko

Lots of walking before you are at the lobby/restaurants. Most staff don’t speak English but this was manageable.

Never seen anything like it in Taiwan. Beautiful, spacious, tropical paradise. I loved the swimming pools, the great restaurants & the super friendly staff. Waking up next to the river with the sounds of birds and waterfalls was just heaven.

Check in was a little slow because Staff were overwhelmed.

Free shuttle from & to Hualien Station(advance reservation necessary). Hotel is very wide (lobby to guestrooms, free shuttle available) and with variety of facillities (some cost extra charge), personally times would be a little bit tight for only one night stay even if before check-in & after check-out facilities are still available for use.Rooms are all with balcony (garden & river view), very wide, with everything more than enough. Poolside is fantastic in both day & night time, lifeguards are there who are all polite and friendly. Still, there are pools with warm water (around 40 degrees), not any problems in winter season.Canal's cruising boat takes guests to see through the hotel (go around), boatmans (some are female) would like to give guests a guide patiently through the whole cruise. And also, around 22:00, they run the final boat (not allowed on board) with music speaker, saying good night to everybody.Restaurant is small a bit considering they have such huge amount of guestrooms, it results in that dinner time being seperated into two parts...might be a little bit shameful as they offered many kinds of cuisines, hopefully longer time for dinner would be suggested. But even if we did it over time, staff in the restaurant were all nice and did not push us in a hurry at all.Breakfast time until 12:00 which is quite an excellent service as guests are able to spend the leisure time until around 11:00 (final check-out time), then go for breakfast after check-out. We planned to do this originally but could hardly hire a shuttle to lobby for doing check-out first (around 11:00 is a rush hour for check-out, cars are not enough at all) . However they let us to keep our luggages and room key, go enjoy our late morning time first, back at around 12:15, then they offered a shuttle, gave us a ride to lobby for check-out. Well they do have flexibilities no matter how their policy defines, unfoegettable customer services.

The only thing should really be improved is their less check-in counters, taking times for waiting especially when shuttle bus arrives from Hualien Station, many group of guests come in at the sametime. If they can arrange more reception staff even only when shuttle buses arrive, handling check-in at both reception and other area of lobbies, would probably make things be much more smooth.

The room very spacious, the atmosphere of the whole resort felt like we were abroad. The boat trip around the resort was really fun.

Not so much choice for lunch. Too bad the pizza place was not working.

I liked how spacious our hotel room is and loves the bathroom. We really enjoyed the pool and the kids playroom.

It was a challenge to find snacks on the property other than the small snack shop by the bike rentals. Maybe some snack vending machines would be nice

The environment

Although it is a Muslim friendly hotel and I made a notice in the booking but they didn't pay attention to it to prepare the room and said I didn't call them to prepare the Halah food 7 days ago !? The "notice" was no useful actually!

Place was nice and spacious but not much to do. No activities or fun events. Didn't get to do boat cruise because we either had wrong info or it was closed. Also NYE countdown was cut short due to rain so we missed the fireworks entirely. They did not give us notice. The Chinese restaurant dinner was great! Lots of yummy food. Buffet was so so, should have stuck with Chinese restaurant for dinner. This location is too far from Taroko Gorge National Park, about 30-40 minutes.

No activities or fun events. Went during new years eve time so couldn't use pool. Buffet was so so. Far from Taroko Gorge National Park.

A cozy, beautiful resort . Feel relaxed to walk around. The folk song concert is enjoyable. Staffs are friendly and helpful. A wonderful experience!

Very spacious room and bathroom, decent breakfast buffet. Beautiful lakes, bridges and greenery throughout the resort, albeit a bit worn down.

There were no HDMI cables nor international plug adaptors available. Facilities and activities looked empty and lonely - probably due to COVID though.

Best hotel for Goni, our wonderful pet!

Overall is perfect ! Really enjoy this trip !
